The 140CHS11000 is a Hot Standby (HSBY) synchronization module for the Modicon Quantum by Schneider Electric. It enables real-time data mirroring between a "Primary" and a "Standby" CPU, ensuring continuous operation and bumpless failover in mission-critical applications.

This module uses a dedicated high-speed fiber optic link to offload redundancy communication from the main network. Paired with Unity HSBY CPUs (e.g., 140CPU67160), it allows two identical racks to maintain synchronous process data, making it ideal for fault-tolerant architectures in oil & gas, power generation, and water treatment plants.
