The 8923-1182 is a diagnostic and configuration interface cable developed by Woodward, Inc. for L-Series integrated engine actuators and governors.

It provides the physical connection between L-Series control hardware and a PC running Woodward L-Series Service Tool software. The cable enables real-time parameter monitoring, calibration, and firmware management for gas engine control systems.

Designed for field service environments, the cable features shielded wiring to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and includes internal signal conditioning electronics to safely translate PC-side communication signals into the L-Series controller logic level. This helps protect actuator communication ports during diagnostics and commissioning.
