Product Description

The CC-PAIH02 is a high-performance analog input module designed for the Honeywell Experion PKS Series C environment. It enables seamless integration of smart field devices by supporting HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) communication superimposed on standard 4–20 mA signals.

With the CC-PAIH02, operators can access secondary variables and advanced device diagnostics directly through the C300 controller, eliminating the need for additional external communication hardware.

Engineered for high-density applications, the module features a dedicated HART modem on each channel, ensuring digital communication does not interfere with the primary analog control loop. Its robust design incorporates galvanic isolation and advanced filtering to maintain signal accuracy in electrically noisy industrial environments.

Application Scenarios

The CC-PAIH02 is widely used in modern refineries, chemical plants, and pharmaceutical facilities where smart instrumentation is deployed. It supports predictive maintenance strategies by enabling access to device health data, calibration status, and multi-variable measurements (such as combined pressure and temperature signals from a single transmitter).

Technical Comparison & FAQ

How does the CC-PAIH02 differ from the standard CC-PAIN01?
While both modules process 4–20 mA signals, the CC-PAIH02 includes integrated HART modems on each channel, allowing digital communication with field devices and integration with asset management systems. The CC-PAIN01 is limited to standard analog signal processing only.

Does this module support redundant I/O configurations?
Yes. The CC-PAIH02 can be deployed in redundant pairs on compatible Series C IOTA assemblies, ensuring continuous operation and preventing process disruption in the event of a module failure.
