The KJ3004X1-BA1 (12P2093X042) is a Series 2 Foundation Fieldbus H1 interface card designed for the Emerson Electric DeltaV™ M-Series distributed control system. It provides the primary digital communication link between the DeltaV controller and intelligent H1 field devices, enabling reliable bi-directional data exchange for transmitters, valve positioners, and other smart instruments.

Technical FAQ

Does the KJ3004X1-BA1 supply power to the Fieldbus segment?
No. The module manages communication and logic only. A separate Fieldbus power conditioner must supply 9–32 VDC to energize devices on the H1 segment.

Is this module compatible with Series 1 DeltaV carriers?
It is a Series 2 component. While physically compatible with most M-series carriers, firmware and controller revisions should be verified before integrating with older Series 1 systems.

Can the module be replaced during operation?
