Product Description

The SDI208 (P/N: 00014544-00) is a high-integrity safety input module designed to extend the Bachmann M1 system’s functional safety capabilities. Working alongside the SLC284 safety processor, it provides 16 digital inputs that can be configured as 8 redundant pairs to achieve SIL 3 and PL e / Category 4 compliance.

Equipped with dual 32-bit microcontrollers in a redundant internal architecture, the SDI208 continuously monitors input states and hardware health, ensuring a deterministic safe state in the event of a fault.
